A well respected oil and gas company in downtown Denver is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join their accounting team.  This position is responsible for revenue sales allocation, production verification, and processing monthly royalties.  The ideal candidate will have recent revenue accounting experience, solid analytical skills, and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:

• Process revenues and prepare entries
• Perform state tax and royalty preparation and reporting
• Process monthly royalties
• Account reconciliations
• Revenue sales allocation
• Work with Land department on production verification
• Prepare special reports as requested
• Monthly revenue close
• Resolve payment and production discrepancies

Requirements:

• 2+ years oil & gas revenue accounting experience required
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or business related field preferred
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in working with databases and spreadsheets
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with Excalibur preferred
