Paige joined our Right Hire Team (RHT) last fall. As a member of the RHT, employees get exposure to working with various companies while gaining new skills and exploring their interests. During her time on our team, Paige worked at multiple corporations, adding experience to her resume while we helped her search for a long-term fit with the right company. We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with Paige and are excited to announce her newest transition to a permanent role with our client!

We wanted to share her experience as a way to help other recent college graduates understand their options when considering different ways to land a job.

  1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What were you doing prior to joining AimHire? I am a recent graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism and a minor in Business Administration. Before I started with AimHire, I was interning with Defend Our Future, an environmental organization encouraging students to practice sustainability. I was looking for a job at the time and was having quite a bit of trouble, but then I found AimHire!
  2. What was your experience like at AimHire and as a Right Hire Teamer? I had a great experience with AimHire. They got me out to various companies, all of which were great, and with that I got to meet a lot of people. It was a great networking opportunity and having the AimHire team supporting me was such a bonus because every company I worked for only had good things to say about them all. They were there to answer any questions I had, they found multiple job opportunities that would suit me properly, and they made sure I was happy in what I was doing.
  3. In what ways did AimHire and your role as a RHT help support your goals? I believe the aspect about AimHire that supported me the best was the fact that I could work and earn an income while also searching for a career. They found multiple job opportunities for me and all in various positions. Getting out in the field and discovering different companies expanded my horizon on what I could do in a career.
  4. What piece of advice would you give to someone who is new to the job search process? My advice would be to keep your options open and of course to work for a recognized agency. It was such a relief to have other people search for jobs for me with great companies while I was out working. Joining AimHire proved to be one of my best decisions after college, they helped me find an amazing company to work for.
