Before I started working with AimHire, I was completely unfamiliar with recruitment firms, or staffing agencies as they’re often called. I didn’t know how they worked or what to expect. If you’re like me, read on.

We work with over one hundred of the top companies in the Denver area. Some are growing rapidly; others are more stable. Some are small; others are global. Each company has a unique structure and set of recruitment needs, but all of them have called on AimHire to help them meet those needs. We always have a running list of open positions, and we recruit based on those positions.

When you look at our website, you can see a list of our current open positions. If one piques your interest, apply! It’s a very short process – all we need is your resume and your contact information. It is not necessary to apply for more than one position; our recruiters will automatically consider you for anything we have open that could be a good fit for you. Our recruiters look at every resume that is sent to us, but because of the high volume of applications, they are unable to contact everyone who applies. They select and reach out to candidates who appear to be a good match for the requirements of our open positions.

If you receive a call from a recruiter, she will have a short list of questions for you in order to complete an initial phone interview. If the interview further confirms that you are a potential match for an open position with us, you will be scheduled for an in-person interview with one of our staffing managers.

When you meet with our staffing managers, they will ask you about your background, skills, and interests. It is best to arrive prepared for a formal interview- the more impressed our staffing manager is with you, the more likely they are to submit you to our client companies! It is possible that when you interview with us, we won’t have the perfect match open right away. If this is the case, you will enter our talent pipeline. As new positions open up, we start reaching out to our candidates who have the experiences and interests (as well as salary expectations and location) to make the position a good fit. Sometimes we fill these positions in an hour or less, so be sure to call back quickly if you receive a call from a staffing manager! Also, it’s wise to check in periodically so our staffing managers know that you are interested and still available.
