Last night we rolled up our sleeves to craft some amazing projects at Upstairs Circus. Even with a wide array of options to choose from, most members created a piece that expresses their CO Pride!

My favorite part about the event was seeing how aspects of work translated into a social setting. Everyone was laid back while catching up with one another but when it came down to the creating phase, each individual took charge and focused intently on the project at hand. Affirmations and check-ins were exchanged- “How are you doing over there?” and “Wow, great job!” Everyone was more than supportive and those who finished early chipped in to cut, paint, and help wherever needed.  

It is interesting to see how work and play intersect. There is a happy balance between the two, and even better when you have a cheerful and supportive team working by your side!
